צְדַק

צְדַק, צְדֵיקch. sam(צדקto be right, true, just; to be cleared), to be clear, just. Targ. Ps. 19:10 צְדִיקוּ Ms. (ed. זכיאו). Af. אַצְדֵּיק to justify, do justice to. Ib. 82:3.א׳דינא to acknowledge the justice of divine judgment. Taan.22b דקא מַצְדִּיק דינא אנפשיהוכ׳ Ms. M. (ed. מצדיק עליהוכ׳) that he acknowledged the justice of Gods decree over him, saying (Lam. 1:18)
